465 Washington Street

465 Washington Street is an existing five story loft building that is enlarged to 10 stories with 8 dwelling units. The project is Passive House Planning Package certified. The ventilation for each apartment is innovative in that an Energy Recovery Ventilator is used to ensure an excellent Indoor Air Quality and substantial energy recovery. This strategy also eliminates the stack effect and greatly simplifies commissioning of the ventilation systems.

This building is located in a flood zone and all electro-mechanical systems are located to be outside of areas that may flood per the FEMA Design Flood Elevation data.
